holidays i will miss you so

so it has suddenly arrived. the end of all enjoyment for a long time.

the last day of june holidays.

sounds a bit like shi jie mo re. hahah. oh well. how have i spent this yr's hols? well i must say this is the first time in a long time that i have felt so relaxed during the holidays. relaxed and sometimes actually quite bored and restless. that's pretty rare. or maybe it just seems like it's been forever since i've felt like that.

i did quite a bit of work, but then i also didn't do quite a bit of work. heh heh heh. so what now? math test coming up and good old me is prepared not prepared at all. have not touched my wkshts. have not started revision. but i must not fail this test, because if i do i fear that i might be retained. that's scary.

my teachers would be proud to have known that i brought one quarter my luggage bag full of textbooks and worksheets overseas to mug. i actually went to the library there and studied. well ofcourse under the very pressurizing influence of my shuaige and penny. i miss the library rooftop! that was where i spent two of my study sessions doing my work. although sometimes i just dozed off on a math worksheet, waking up only to find the stupid sun in my eyes. lol. ahh actually i miss that. surprisingly those were the most study-wise productive days of this entire hols.

then when i returned it was back to hard training. found it most fulfilling to get to know other people in the training group better, found myself feeling less uncomfortable during training. i must say the training was really draining and doing work was rather difficult so instead i resorted to a regular regime of sleeping and watching tv in between training sessions. tv is educational and i am indeed thankful that i was able to educate myself via this small box with a display and some speakers.

okay so today's the last day of this all. where all the unwinding stops and reverses to become winding. where my curly hair just gets curlier from the stress. and where i am supposed to be sufficiently rejuvinated to face the rest of the next school term and upcoming competitions. apart from the undone hw, i think i have done pretty well in relaxing myself and training up. but it's strange cos this is the first time i did so much work during the sch hols, yet i find so much hw left. hm, just goes to prove that homework is neverending.

now how did i spend the last day of the june holidays? started off with an early morning at east coast park doing what i can almost say i enjoy most- training. did a recce of the osim route- all three legs of them. it is much like the sea games time trial route. then practiced transition. i am very very very slow at this. and i suck at mounting my bike. happy to say i did not fall while mounting, however, i fell while turning -.-" yes. i fell off my bike! onto this patch of sand. how embarassing. especially when i was being timed for it. but oh no, not only did i fall once, but TWICE! yes, this very.. ugh small boy just sat on his teensy bike. staring. i was like "excuse me, excuse me! EXCUSE ME!!!! -crash!" silly boy just sat there he didn't even BUDGE. his parents were yelling at him to move but did he move? no he just HAD to sit there and cause another crash for me. my poor bike suffered scratches and i am now the owner of a scratched bike. AHHH drats. i tried so hard to keep it unscathed. stupid sand. just for memories, i now have this blue and black patch of skin on my right knee. anybody who wishes to view this most precious reminder of how stupid and clumsy i can be, may view it. ah yes, someone should try stepping on the sea floor of east coast waters. it was super duper gross! like stepping in shit mixed with dirt and a whole lot of mud. soft and squishy, and felt like quicksand. was hard to run out of the water with that kind of floor.

ahh right oh! i have accomplished the art of drinking water while biking. stupid though it may sound, i was unable to do that. but now i can! heh. only at slower speeds. previously i'd stop and dismount my bike during the race just to drink water. heheh. today i got another bottle carrier on my bike! yay can now fit two bottles. like everyone else.

okay now i am slacking. i did one SBQ but now i am just stoning infront of the tv. things are boring. i am avoiding chem and math. physics was tuff. chinese i am avoiding as well.

agh i can't believe hols are over. i'm all ready to jump out of bed to go for training in the morning, but instead i will be sent to singapore's largest pressure cooker- rgs.

someone motivate me to do work..
